INTRODUCTION TO VIOLENCE

Sometimes lovingly referred to as

Is the introductory seminar for Martial Artists who want to learn about violence.  It covers at least:

  1. The Seven Aspects of Self-Defense

  2. Force Law

  3. Efficient Movement

  4. Fighting to the Goal

  5. Counter Ambush

  6. Violence Dynamics


The second day will go into:

  1. Dynamic Fighting

  2. Environmental Fighting

  3. Ground movement

  4. Ethics and Application of Pain

  5. Plastic Mind

About 1/3 lecture.  Bring comfortable clothes.  I don’t know if shoes are allowed in the training area.  Bring snacks, water, notebook and pen or pencil, if you like taking notes.

Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting torn, sweaty or dirty.  Feel free to bring safe training versions of any weapons that you regularly carry.  NO LIVE WEAPONS ALLOWED ON THE TRAINING FLOOR AT ANY TIME!!!.

Water, food and notepad.

Location very much subject to change, David is looking for a more natural environment.

This is pure lecture, so bring something to write with and something to write on.


This gets into the roots of conflict, where it comes from, why, and how to de-escalate yourself so that you can de-escalate others.
